When to Visit?

It is recommended to visit Mata Vaishno Devi during Summer Season when days are long. This will help manage your time to take some rest at hotel and cover half of the yatra in Day Light.
Summer season also makes your yatra comfortable in the Evening and at Night as the weather remains pleasant.
It is recommended to avoid the yatra during rainy season and peak winters.

Day-1
Ready for an exciting adventure! Arrive at Katra Railway Station and check-in (10:00 A.M.) to cozy room or dormitory Niharika Complex or a fabulous hotel room. Auto or Private Taxi will drop you here. Your unforgettable journey begins here!
Take a bath, Enjoy the Lunch and head towards Maa Vaishno Devi Temple in between 03:00 to 06:00 PM as per your convenience.

Night-1
Stay at Adhkuwari.
You can reach here by vehicle or by feet. We have booked a room for you at Adhkuwari. Enjoy the Garbhjoon Aarti Darshan and pleasant weather at night and recharge yourself for next day morning yatra.
If you have arrived here using a vehicle, you can continue your Yatra towards Maa Vaishno Devi Mandir. In this case, stay at here can also be planned.

Day-2
Take Langar and head towards Maa Vaishno Devi mandir. Deposit your Bag and Shoe in Digital Locker (Rs 50 per locker) and take Darshan of Mata Ji.
Post Darshan, head towards Bahirav Baba Mandir.
